We’ve had some really special mail arrive lately. And not just for Samar, but for the whole family.
Her unko from Hawaii sent a whole heck of a lot of Aloha along with our favorite snacks and really thoughtful gifts which included these books. In his card he said that it should be mandatory for adults to read a children’s book once a week because their messages can be so insightful.
And more family sent some gifts that would help keep Samar busy in the routine and boredom that can exist inside a hospital room’s four walls.
All these care packages are so appreciated, but the most valued gift is the thoughtfulness behind them.
They don’t call it a care package for nothing.
