Oh how we love the waiting game. That’s what we’ve been “playing” for the last three weeks. As we now enter the fourth week, I’m getting anxious. I told G it seems like this wait for counts to go up is taking longer. But he did point out that it was about the same amount of time as the last. It just didn’t seem as long since we had her home with us during recovery. Our days are spent doing much of the same. She goes to “preschool” and the playroom twice daily playing with toys, or listening to a book being read. Her new favorite thing is pushing a toy cart around. It doubles as a shopping cart slash baby stroller. LOL. She’s become such a pro at taking vitals, her multiple medications, and actually even showed some improvement with her dressing change (as reported by Grumma)! I wish there was some special potion that existed that could help boost her counts. Alas, no such luck. But hoping, like the last time, that they suddenly jump and just keep going.
She’s amazing this girl. Her personality comes through every day. She’s silly for sure. She has me laughing at her booty shaking, naughtiness, and goofy personality. She’s defiant. She’s strong-willed. She’s independent. If I’m a germaphobe, she is my complete opposite. She’s grown alot at the hospital. I’m just thankful for all of the above. She is one of our three miracles and I’m convinced she will also be our testament.
